I know this has taken me nearly half-a-year to post – but, like in all years past, Harrington Law was blessed in 2025.  But, it was also it was bittersweet. At times, 2025 showed us that life keeps lifing – and sometimes work has to take a backseat as we faced a lot of challenges in our personal lives .  But, God.  The Lord was faithful and provided every step of the way, even in the midst of some of the thickest fog. 

With that being said, see below for some of our firm and family highlights:

• Helped a single mother exercise her lease purchase option in a lease, despite major, major resistance and demands from the Seller.  We ultimately closed – and the home’s FMV was about twice as much as she paid for it!

• Continued to expand our general counsel offerings and really sunk our teeth into the venture capital world.

• Stepped into some immigration matters, including serving a client who is facing removal (we’re still in the process of it!).

• As fractional general counsel, we reviewed a ton of vendor and third-party agreements related primarily to large-scale property management.

• Assisted a client start up its asphalt business – their business is booming!

• Worked with multiple non-profits to form ministries with all organizational documents. 

• Helped a client obtain her US Citizenship and attended the ceremony.  Beautiful!

• Continued to bless families around the area through our family non-profit.

• Successfully expunged a criminal record for a friend of mine.

• Assited in moving a semi-homeless friend of ours from Tampa to Kentucky. This man, who we met in the streets, went through much in his life, including surviving a bullet to his head just weeks before we met him. He is now in an assisted living facility in Kentucky.

And, as always, our backbone is Commercial Real Estate.  We negotiated and closed dozens of transactions, both directly through this firm and through of counsel arrangements.  Business increased by the grace and hand of God as we have been pressing in through prayer for new clients - and the Lord delivered! And, this year, 2026, we’re off to a good start already!

Finally, family.  We added a beautiful and joyful daughter in June of 2025: Sofia.  This little girls just smiles and laughs and always pushes the envelope with mom and dad! Our hearts are so full with her! 

Paisley, of course, turned four in November and she has the sweetest, kindest heart.  And she is embracing her role as a prayer warrior – always volunteering to pray and thank God for His goodness in our lives!

And, the fun doesn’t stop there: we’re expecting a son in the fall of 2026!  We cannot wait to welcome him and love on this little guy!  Emmett – we are over the moon for your entrance!

While we don’t know what this year holds for us, we know that He is good.  We know that He is faithful.  And, we know that He sees this little family and this law firm.  May His will be done, and may it all be for His glory!
