02. Social Rights

Civil and Political

Everyone in America has certain rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. Those rights are inalienable, they cannot be taken away.

Socioeconomic

Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) states that there is a “right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being” of each person and their family, including basic food, medical care, social services, and security in the event of unemployment or disability.

Human

Everyone, regardless of border, deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. It starts in our community, moves to our region, then to our state before traversing the nation and reaching the globe. We are a beacon of light, let us not forget that.
